Glass Sun Catchers - Triple Spiral
Beautiful handmade sun catcher in a range of shapes and colours with gold etched design.
This piece is based on the triple spiral or Triskele found in many ancient cultures across Europe and Asia. Possibly most famously associated with Irish Celtic art and design, the New Grange burial mound being a prime example.
The triple spiral or Triskele is said to be one of the oldest symbols of spirituality, seen by many to represent the cycle of life, death and rebirth.
The image has been etched onto glass, then coloured, before being set in a lead came surround and polished.
